VAIL's 44th SEASON STARTS THIS FRIDAY!

That's right - opening day is November 17th! Early season is filling up at Lodge at Lionshead for a lot of very good reasons. Here are a few of our favorites:

Reason #1 - SNOW!
Vail Mountain will open 9 lifts and over 780 acres this Friday. We've had 16 inches of powder in the past 72 hours and 26 inches in the past week - not to mention major storms the end of October and September.

Reason #2 - Vail Snow Daze
This early season bash from December 4 - 17 promises to rival Vail's infamous end of season "Spring Back to Vail". Think free street concerts, unique competitions, bar parties and concerts from national headlining bands including the Counting Crows. For more information, click here.

Reason #3 - FREE Streetbeat Concerts
Win prizes & listen to great bands in the heart of Vail Village! The Bodeans open this concert series on November 29 followed by Bonerama on December 6.

Reason #4 - Birds of Prey World Cup Week
The world's best ski racers convene in Beaver Creek November 29 - December 3. New this year is the addition of the men's Super Combined which just debuted on the World Cup circuit last season. This is the first time in the 41-year history of the World Cup that the men have contested a combined of any format in the United States.

Reason #5 - NEED WE SAY MORE...
