It is the most wonderful time of the year and the busiest time of the year, as well! Santa brought us some snow this week – 6 inches so far – and we are still under a winter storm warning so could see more in the next 24 hours. Let it snow, let it snow, LET IT SNOW!
The holidays are truly magical in Vail. Families come year after year so the same community comes together with a few new additions each December. Stores are bustling, restaurants are packed, but everyone is full of Christmas cheer! The events calendar tends to be low key because is everyone here to ski or ride and spend time with their families; however, the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek is the one place that pulls out all of the stops and hosts some great performances during the holidays. This week alone you can see Curtis Adams: Magic that Rocks, Neil Diamond cover band Super Diamond, Cirque la Masque, BB King and The Von Trapp Children in concert. The Vilar’s line up of events continues through April so if you can’t make it out for the holidays there is still ample opportunity to catch some culture in Vail.
If you get the chance, you should spend the holidays in Vail sometime. Until then, We hope that you and yours have a very happy holiday season!
