The Vail restaurant scene is ever-changing and ever-evolving. Here is the latest update and review on what’s new to the Village for the 2011-2012 season!
MATSUHISA – If you are a fan of sushi, then you know the name Nobu. Well, Mr. Nobu Matuhisa has opened a restaurant in Vail called Matsuhisa. The restaurant is one of only four Matsuhisas in the world – Greece, Beverly Hills, and Aspen being the other locations. This new hotspot is located in the Solaris building in Vail Village and has already received tons of buzz, especially about the bar seats that overlook the mountain! With its grand opening in Mid-August, this new spot is sure to be the place to be seen this ski season. Get reservations early!

ELWAYS – The Wildflower was one of the most beloved places in the Vail Village for many years but, it has now shut its doors. The door that’s opening is one of Denver’s most popular spots for a great night out, Elway’s. This restaurant will open in November, just in time for the ski season, and promises to be a grand addition to the Vail scene. I know I can’t wait to check it out!
