Lodge at Lionshead has location, location, location!
Guests like so many things about Lodge at Lionshead – the spacious condos, outstanding service, first-rate amenities and the amazing location. That last one is why many of our them found us in the first place. You’ve heard the phrase “location, location, location”, and you definitely want to put that at the top of your list in Vail.
100 Yards from Vail Mountain
Lodge at Lionshead is tucked away along scenic Gore Creek at the base of Vail Mountain, and just 100 yards from the Lionshead Snowsports School, Born Free chairlift and Eagle Bahn gondola. We’ve got immediate access to Vail’s pedestrian path from our back gate, which serves as our shortcut to the mountain. That’s important because there’s no traffic here – buses, vehicles or otherwise. It’s just you, a few other people, and the sounds of Gore Creek as you make the 2-minute walk to the base area. It’s quick and convenient for all of our guests, even families. Easy access is key if you want your winter vacation to be a success.
During the summer, you can bike along this same path to Vail Village or West Vail and follow Gore Creek almost the entire way.
More Conveniences
Vail Mountain is not the only thing close by. Lodge at Lionshead is right next to The Market at Vail, and about a minute’s walk to the Lionshead Village entrance, Dobson Ice Arena, and Vail Library. Vail Village is just a few blocks away. You can easily walk to it any time of year or hop on one of the free in-town shuttle buses. Lodge at Lionshead sits conveniently between the Lionshead and Library bus stops. In the summer, we offer complimentary cruiser bikes for use by our guests and owners to cruise over to Vail Village or beyond.
Last – but definitely not least – did we mention the gorgeous scenery surrounding our property? Gore Creek, Vail Mountain, aspens, pines, firs, wildflowers…it’s everything you imagine when you picture the Rocky Mountains. Location, location, location. It’s important anywhere you vacation, and when you vacation in Vail, Lodge at Lionshead has it.
