Zip Adventures of Vail

Imagine ziplining through the canyons near Vail, ending by the Eagle River. This is what Zip Adventures of Vail is all about. Located in Wolcott near 4 Eagle Ranch, Zip Adventures provides a unique experience from start to finish. It’s easily one of the best Vail ziplines and has even been named one of the top 10 ziplines in the world! You will want to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your tour time, so the guides can equip you with a safety harness, helmet, and gear needed for the adventure. After everyone in the group is ready to go, you will take a short trip in a 1974 model Pinzauger to get to the zipline course. Before the tour begins, your guide will demonstrate a quick safety briefing. After this, you’re ready to zip down the course which includes six ziplines crossing the canyon and the canyon plunge (the plunge is optional). It is definitely an adrenaline rush! You can expect to be on the tour for approximately 2.5 hours. Water and snacks are provided.

Epic Discovery

Epic Discovery has a few different zipline options to choose from. If you have young kids, the Little Eagle Zipline is perfect. It is designed for kids 3 and older and will get your young one ready for the big ziplines one day! The Golden Eagle Zipline, for adults, is a bit more of a thrill. On this one, you get to see a unique view of the Vail Valley.

Epic Discovery’s most iconic zipline is the Game Creek Zipline Tour. With seven ziplines plus aerial bridges going down Game Creek Bowl, you’ll get to see stunning scenery and views down the valley towards the town of Avon. The tour is more than two miles long and usually takes about three to four hours to complete. You’ll learn different facts about the mountain as your guide takes you through and above the pine-scented forests. Although there is not a specific height requirement for this tour, participants must be at least 10 years of age or older and weigh between 90 and 250 pounds.

Useful Tips…

  • It is recommended to wear closed-toed shoes and dress in layers. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a waterproof jacket, a camera with a wrist strap, and a hair tie for longer hair. Safety harnesses, helmets, and other necessary gear are provided.
  • Don’t bring anything with you that can be easily be dropped as it may not be recoverable.
  • Transportation is NOT provided to and from Zip Adventures of Vail in Wolcott, CO.
  • Multiple tour times are available daily, but spots are limited. Plan ahead!
